After School Enrichment Program
CMES Winter 2010 Session
You are invited to participate in the Winter 2010 session of the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) sponsored by the CMES PTA. The ASEP provides CMES students from K-5th grade the opportunity to take a variety of classes after school! This program runs for five weeks. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning the week of January 25th and ending the week of February 22nd. There will be no class on Monday, February 15 and that class will be made up on Monday, March 8. No classes are held when school is closed or has a shortened day. The class descriptions will provide you a list of all the courses offered this session, as well as the day, time, and fee for each class.
We are pleased to offer this selection of after school activities and would like to thank the instructors who have volunteered to teach them. If you would like to see different programs offered, we would appreciate your suggestions and assistance. Please let us know if you have a hobby, craft, sport, or interest you would like to share with the children. We are always looking for new activities and instructors for future programs.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION
On the first day of class, please remind your child which class they will be attending and that ASEP participants will be dismissed to the cafeteria. Please send an extra snack for your child to eat while waiting to be escorted to their enrichment program. If there are any medical conditions such as asthma or food allergies, please note this on the attached registration form. We do not have access to medication or the health room after school.
Please be prompt when picking up your child. You should go directly to the cafeteria to sign-out your child. There will be volunteers to monitor the children, but they are not expected to stay longer than 10 minutes after the end of the class. For the safety of the children, participants will not be allowed to leave the building without an adult. Your cooperation in this procedure is necessary to ensure the program runs smoothly and safely.
Finally, in the event of school closings (e.g., due to snow), ASEP classes will NOT be held.

µMake checks payable to CMES PTA
µMake a separate check for EACH registered class. This process allows us to quickly refund your money if necessary.
µNo refunds will be given after the first day of the class.
