Calling all artists!!

<CMES PTA LOGO CONTEST ENTRY FORM 

The CMES PTA needs your help in designing a logo for PTA newsletters, the website, and correspondence.  We don't have our very own logo yet, and who better to design one than a CMES student?!

The artwork must include a variation of our name, Carroll Manor Elementary School PTA (see below for examples) and may include a lion, the school mascot.  The winning entry will be announced and displayed in the March PTA newsletter and on the website.   The specifications below must be followed to have your entry included for judging.

Participation Information

z Students K-5 are invited to participate.  A student may submit up to 3 entries.

Submission Information

z Contest entry form is due Friday, February 26 and should be turned in to your teacher with the following information:
  • Participant's first and last name
  • Grade
  • Teacher's Name
  • Marked as "CMES PTA Logo Contest Entry"

Specifications for Artwork Entry

z Paper to Use: Artwork should be submitted on white paper
z Colors to Use: Preferably black and white. One bright color can be used in addition to black (the logo will go out on CMES PTA paper correspondence as black and white colored)
z Medium to Use: May be drawn initially with pencil and then with ink/marker drawn over the pencil
z Logo Size:  Logo should fit inside a square 6 inches in size or less (logo itself can be any shape)
z Must include some variation of "Carroll Manor Elementary School PTA" (e.g., CMES PTA, Carroll Manor PTA, Carroll Manor ES PTA)
z May include a picture of a lion, our school mascot. No tracing please, but feel free to use clip art or pictures as inspiration
