 SPECIAL NOTICE . 

The CMES PTA mid-year general meeting is scheduled for 7pm, February 9th (Exec. Board Mtg. to precede general meeting at 6:30pm), in the CMES cafeteria.  Mr. Cuppett has agreed to give parents a CMES "State of the School" address, to discuss the current score rankings of our school, what they mean, and how they are being addressed by the staff, as well as other current staff focuses.  He will also discuss what he and the staff plan to focus on next year, post-construction.

 The goal of the Carroll Manor Elementary PTA is to bring the standards of the National PTA to our own school community.  They are: to welcome all families into the school community, to communicate effectively, to support student success, to speak up for every child, to share power, and to collaborate with the community.  Our work to meet these standards is achieved through our various committees, collaboration with school staff and teachers, and the volunteerism both for the school and PTA, of which we are very proud.

The efforts of PTA are ultimately to advocate for our nation's children.  By becoming a member and helping us with our efforts, you advocate for your child and for all of our students - and studies confirm that parent involvement affects student achievement directly.  Within this website you will find calendar, event, and contact information throughout this website, as well as forms for membership and volunteering.  Use the website to familiarize yourself with our PTA and school, and to help you determine how you can help. And please feel free at any time to use the contact information to ask questions or to give suggestions.

Carroll Manor Elementary School is currently in the midst of change and growth as construction has officially begun on the 2009/2010 addition of ten new classrooms.  The CMES PTA is committed to partnering with parents, teachers, and staff to provide a safe and successful academic environment for all of our students during the construction phase.  We will be detailing the construction work and related issues as the year progresses, so visit our website often and welcome to our school community!
